Figured I should set one of these up before it got to the point I had so many that the thought of compiling them was terrifying.

Right now it only includes Hetalia fics, but eventually it will be updated to include my Red vs Blue fics as well.

Okay, so I heard Last Kiss by Pearl Jam on the radio. Hadn't heard it in a while. It's really really sad, and I almost started crying...

Then the title made me think of Chibitalia and HRE, which made me think of Germany and Italy being the couple in the song, and then I did start crying.

Also, as far as depressing songs go... Listen to this and think of WW2 from Gilbert's pov. When the bridge comes in, it will punch you in the gut. There's even a verse that says "...so when you see me falling backwards down the wall that says I'm still alive..."

And so I don't feel guilty for spamming you guys with sadness, here is the Count Censored featuring the Count from sesame street. It replaces the words 'count' and 'counting' with bleeps. It will either scar you or you will find it hilarious. If it's the former, forgive me. I'd suggest watching it with headphones if you're around people who won't appreciate the humor >.>

I had such a bad day, I started crying when I got home.

- I saw Zombieland (I'm zombie obsessive, so that's a given). It was epic. And on top of that... I LIVE IN TALLAHASSEE!!! I have never, EVER been more proud of that fact. The people in my theater cheered XD It was so awesome...

- Me and my dad are getting our hair dyed together. One of us will do blue, the other will do purple. His hair is a little below his shoulders, and he's getting the underneath part dyed. Mine is almost mid-back, and I'm thinking of just doing one section or streaks. The point: my dad is awesome.

- I'm going to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios! I can't wait. I've wanted to go, like, since I've been alive. My college is taking a whole bunch of students there on charter busses. Oh the fun we shall have. -cough-redbull-cough- PLUS I GET TO SEE ONE OF MY BEST ONLINE FRIENDS IRL FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!

- The main dessert at a French place me and my friends ate at for lunch was called "The Gilberto". Lawl. /ship

- The russiamericacomm is doing a fic/art challenge for the anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis. bridgetsmidge18suggested it <333 Anyway, I'm one of the mods running it, so.... -shameless plug-

- I decided that America serenading Russia with "Fly me to the Moon" by Sinatra is the most adorable mental image ever.

So yeah... My dad was working at his store, cutting open a box so that he could put products on the shelf. He left his knife open in his pocket. And grabbed it. And cut off the tip of his ring finger. How did he react? He didn't. He looked at it, said "Well. Fuck." and went about his business until the store was slow enough for him to go to the emergency room. If I hadn't been so ready to strangle him for waiting, I would have thought it was completely badass (I was at school at the time and got a call from one of the understandably freaked out employees). Anyway... it got glued back on. So it's all good now.

Also happening in my week:

I have an above-perfect score in my Anatomy and Physiology class because I got a 109/110 on a test and also did extra credit.

I got semi-obsessed with Dexter (the bloody one; not the tiny redhead with glasses and a labcoat, though I miss that show).

I realized France = Lestat because I just reread the Anne Rice series.

My crush made me a paper rose.

And I realized that if the FBI or other intelligence agencies monitor internet conversations and blogs, we Hetalia fans have probably raised at least momentary attention. Think about it. If you're writing a fic and a sentence like "Russia is plotting to kill America" or something of its ilk comes up... especially with the vast quantity of violent fics out there (beyond just that pairing, obviously)... then... uh... yeah. So I'll just be here imagining some poor guy in a suit stumbling across the kink meme. Kthnxbai :D Love you guys!

I really did. A box of real human bones. The next lab practical I have to take is on the human skeleton, so that's what we studied the past week. I now know all the bones in the skull (but not the markings yet; there's, like, 45 of those), the vertebrae, and the ribs.

When we first got to the classroom, me and my labpartner sat down in front of the table, and I immediately went to the skull box, picked the skull up, and started trying to figure out which bones were which. Here was the conversation:

Me: [picks up skull] Okay! So, this is the temporal bone, this is the parietal bone---
Ashley: ...you're holding someone's head.
Me: ---this is the occipital bone, and this is the sphenoid bone...
Ashley: No, Terry, you don't understand. You're holding someone's head.
Me: ...
Ashley: ...
Me: Sorry, did you want it first...?
Ashley: [facepalm]

BUT BECOMING A NURSE IS HARD!

So my brain is kinda soup-ish right now >.> And school is my life. The vast majority of my spare time can no longer be considered spare time because it is devoted to reading, highlighting, and memorization. This is the first time I've gotten the opportunity to sit down at my computer. At all. I'm hoping I'll get the chance to reply to things this weekend, but I already have two practicals next week that I have to study for. I'm feeling really intimidated right now too... I'm by far the youngest student in most of my classes, and my classmates seem to have been in the field a lot longer. If you guys could toss me some comments to the effect of "Don't give up!" I'd really appreciate it @_@

As far as fics go... ha... before this semester bitchslapped me, I was working on the Moulin Rouge fic, the third part of the Prussia/Canada series, and the second part of the Cold War Spy AU. Also my sushine Hetalia entry, but I can't give that away >D So, if by some miracle I get the chance, those will be the next things I post.

And now I have to go read my Sociology book~ Which is actually very interesting.
